Some with few, some are more talented;

How we manage what we are given,

Is what matters to the Gifter in heaven.

Money that is hid under the ground,

Is like a talent that has not been found;

It will be a waste of energy,

Not worthy of growth, no synergy.

Sometimes I think I’m losing the gift,

Between posting and commenting lies a rift;

Yet I haven’t found the purpose of my talent,

If not for the Gifter, for whom are my words spent?

I may be able to put words together,

But who does benefit, is it another?

If only for myself then I’m a sore loser,

It would be merely an attention grabber.

It would be nice to hear those praises,

But without purpose, I am deemed useless;

Unless someone’s heart is renewed,

With these words, hope was imbued.

If what I write is simply worth nothing,

But only to brag that I can write about anything;

If it does not at least inspire someone,

Then my words are empty for everyone.

Indeed, no man is an island,

We should live for others, be selflessly grand;

Even the plants and trees give oxygen for free,

Yet they are destroyed by the greedy humanity.

When shall we change to be useful to others,

When shall we think of our brothers and sisters?

Shall life simply meet its end,

Without meaningful growth to lend?

Learn if you will;

The ups and downs,

The smiles and frowns,

Joys and sorrows,

Grief that follows;

Death of a loved one,

Yet life must go on.

We stumble and fall,

We fail on call;

Just do not stop,

Instead, stand up.

Until we make it,

Let us be fit;

Let us fight,

To win with might.

My blogs have grown to 25 in number,

It looks like more will come sooner;

It looks like others suffer my oblivion,

Updating has not been more common.

ScribeFire is really a blessing,

It’s easier to do updating;

Now that I can logically blog,

I can now regularly poeg!

I bought another blog last week,

No, I’m not sick.

I am preparing for the future,

While at home, for sure!

Besides, it was on sale,

Paid before it goes stale.

Now I’m setting it up,

I hope not to stop.

It will be my fave,

An optimistic rave.

FACING FEARS

It’s not that I will lack some food

Or roof above my head,

I know that God is always good

He’ll provide my needs instead.

It’s not that I will die so soon

Or any in my family,

If God thinks my stay is done

Then let His will, be.

It’s not even the pull of the Devil

For me to lose my crown,

As long as I stay with Christ

Those will not put me down.

Now that I realize

What my fears are not,

It’s easier to face my fears

And do the tasks I’ve got.

When I do, I’ll teach my heart

To focus on the goal,

There should be no turning back

The fears should end, it’s my call.

REACHING FOR THE GOAL

How far is it to reach your goal,

How often did you stumble and fall?

Were you discouraged at all,

When told all you got is gall?

How many tears have you shed,

Tears that have wet your bed?

How many aches did your heart take,

Hearing hurtful words that break?

How do you make the world go spinning,

Despite the negativity showering?

If you believe your goal is worth it,

Regardless if it’s a difficult feat;

Then don’t lose sight of your goal,

Focus and plan and give your all.

You don’t have to take giant leaps,

Even a baby starts with small steps.

Listen to what others may say,

But don’t let pessimism end your day.

In the multitude there is safety,

Weigh your actions, even briefly.

If your goal is God’s will,

You have a role to fulfill;

Make Him your partner,

You’ll sure be a winner.

(Spontaneously written just now as I thought I have to add a new post now instead of later.)

Remember when babies learn to walk?
They fall and cry but never give up;
Standing up at every fall,
An ingredient for being successful.

When we grew older we often just talk,
We forget so much while holding a cup;
The bravery we had when we were small,
Of standing up again, starting cool.

It’s all right sometimes you may sulk,
Not too much to forget to stand up;
It doesn’t matter how many times you fall,
As long as standing up is your last tool.

I wished I could draw like my stepfather,

But it’s pure talent, he’s a master;

When I was young I only doodled,

Nothing realistic, most were muddled.

When I saw Doodlers Anonymous,

I thought it was magnificus!

There’s hope for a doodler like me,

Practice, practice, later I’ll see.

Eraser in my left hand,

Pencil in my right,

Drawing book under.

Thinking I’ll be able,

To doodle something grand,

When I screamed at the sight,

Of a mouse below me, “FLYPAPER!”
